Before I was in my mom's tummy, she did not care at all
about eating healthy! She ate fast food and junk all her life. I changed all that. I really wanted to be
healthy and I wanted my mom to be healthy too!
I also wanted
to be born at home! But sadly, due to interference from well meaning people, I ended up being born under the bright
lights of Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, NV by emergency c-section at the last minute. This was very traumatic for me
because the doctor just yanked me out, cut my cord before it had even stopped pulsing, smeared some gooey stuff in my eyes,
and whisked me off to the nursery without even letting me see my mom. They made me drink this nasty artificial gunk
in a bottle and stuck me with needles! A vaccine was forced on me without my mother's consent. I didn't
get to see my mom for over six hours after I was born. They had drugged her and taken me away. When she finally
woke, she kept demanding the nurse bring me to her and once they did my mom did everything in her power to keep me next to
her. I was finally safe and able to get a real meal! The nurse kept trying to take me away but my mother protected
me and did not even sleep for the three days they held us there. She knew that it was against the rules to sleep with
me in her arms and that they would take me back to the nursery again if she slept. I was so glad to get out of that
place and go home!
My mom breastfed me exclusively until I was around
14 months old. I had tasted some of the foods she was eating mostly out of curiosity before that, but it was more a
learning thing. Just like other babies I learned by putting anything I could in my mouth! When I was ready to
start eating, I was able to feed myself. No messy spoon feeding from mom! I loved fruits, salads, smoothies, ice
creams, granola bars and nut & seed milks. I also loved to eat at Go Raw Cafe! My favorite foods there were
young Thai coconuts, pies, smoothies, carob fudge squares, crackers & salsa, enchiladas, house salad and cereal with almond
milk.
